Buddha’s Birthday Festival

Once in a year, there will be a Buddha birthday celebration (Just like Christmas) and occasionally, Dad will bring us out to watch it.

This year my aunt joined the parade (Which was held on last Sunday) so we went out to watch it while having our dinner at KFC (We sit and watch in an air conditioned room while other people was standing outside the store)

Here are some pictures taken from the parade:

I was born on the year of The Dragon

The commonly found Lion Dance (I missed the kindergarten one because I was queueing up to buy chickens)

Reminds me of the scene that usually can be found in Legendary Chinese movies. (Before the war)

According to my aunt

The Buddha statues are shaky because they are happy.

To the right

And to my surprise

A Caucasian carrying the gondola?!
