Manga: Yankee-kun to Megane-chan
I am reading this manga at the moment and I actually laughed while reading it because it’s funny. It is quite hard to find a good manga to read because most of the shoujo mangas have similar plot; just different art.
This manga is about a girl called Adachi Hana which is an ex-deliquent that changed because she thinks being a class representative is cool and the guy is a “yankee” or deliquent.
What is Yankee?
Yankee according to answers.com means a native of England but it also also used as a slang for people who wants to be… um *goes racist* redneck I guess? But, it is usually a term that is used for someone that watches English Movie, dyes their hair blond and talk like a cowboy and get into fights often.

How is the manga different?
1. The nerdy looking lead female character is dumb
A spectacle does not make one person smart and you hardly get to read a manga (maybe never) where the class representative is a student that is repeating her first year.
2. Her hiding skill is a definite failure

If you don’t get it, you fail as a lolzcat fan, ok?
3. She is good with vocabulary
err…
Maybe she needs to read this magazine to understand the meaning of it.
4. Other than vocabulary, she is really good in english
English =/= Jibberish
I personally think she lives in outer space.
5. And the reason for her to wear a geeky glasses is.

If you need a good laugh, you definitely should read this manga because Adachi Hana does not act like the kind of girl you always see on shoujo mangas, lol.
Overall, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is a good manga.

LOL I read the first 2 chapters and yeah it’s hell funny and sweet ^__^ but going to that site was a major mistake -_-; I eneded up torrenting a lot of manga -___-;;; sigh… 87 GB of my new 111 GB external hard drive left T___T i started downloading a LOT of stuff once I started on manga T__T….
87 gb of manga? o.o.. a good reason why I should read online instead of downloading them =P
Plus, it will be better for you to buy dvd burner since it’s cheaper that way
