Repost: Hatsune Miku

I have some issues with my wordpress picture upload so I will be reposting until I can find a solution to fix it (Most probably downgrading my wordpress)

I’m finally done with my second papercraft model! Hatsune Miku took around 6~7 hours (Taken in account of the time I spent to reprint the first page cause I did something wrong with it) and it was much easier compared to Kitsune.

This is the size comparison between Kitsune and Hatsune Miku. Miku is small despite she uses 3 papers while Kitsune only need 2 papers >.>

Here are some tips while making Hatsune Miku:

  • It is better for you to stick the leeks together (While cutting them out using the boxed line instead of the exact shape)
  • Do not stick the thumb together while sticking the leek! Because you need to stick the hand in between the thumb.
  • You stick the head to the body so you don’t have to make a hole below the face.
  • The necktie is semi-stickied to the uniform. (Only the upper part to keep the necktie in place)
  • Watch out for the leek’s shape!

Here’s an explanatory picture to describe the first two tips:

I have short fingernails! Well, basically you leave the part after the here and scissor unglued.
