First step for Online Anime?
I finally subscribe to google alert and it’s really good! (Two thumbs up) and one of alerts I’ve got is from Warren Ellis about Gonzo planning to air TWO new anime online on the same time as they are going to air it in Japan.
As for the language, it will be in Japanese together with English subtitles! I guess we don’t have to wait for fansubbers to get the raw anime episode, translate and hard-sub it anymore.
The method to use online broadcasting is not new as there are several huge music label companies that are affiliating (?) with youtube to release new music videos. Online Broadcasting is also to counter illegal file-sharing and downloading but the new issue will rise; Ripping anime video off the Online Video Broascasting site(Which will probably increase the bandwidth used?).
